Developmental Milestones for Babies

Physical Milestones - being able to hold their head up and lift their chest, reaching for objects, rolling over, showing excitement by waving hands & kicking legs, learning to sit up. Playmats are a great way to introduce tummy time which helps build strength in baby's neck and shoulder muscles in preparation for sitting up, crawling and walking.

Cognitive Milestones - baby will start to recognise familiar faces and objects, looking for something that goes out of their eye line, and starting to imitate actions.

Social & Emotional Milestones - baby will start to smile and will enjoy looking at their own reflection, laughing, cooing and squealing with delight.
