Position: Brand & Content Marketing Manager

Location: Oadby, LE2

Type: 37.5 hours per week

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Brand & Content Marketing Manager, based in our Leicestershire based offices. You will work on a new (but established) brand soon to join our group, and will be responsible for managing the promotion and positioning of the brand and the products, creating and delivering insight-driven marketing strategies that make an impact. You will create engaging content, manage social media channels, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and conduct market research to understand customer needs and preferences. The role requires strong communication and project management skills.

You will work within our supportive team and be backed by resources to support your success, with an on-site studio, and a team that includes a Brand Designer & Illustrator to support graphic/imagery requirements, and a Content Creator apprentice.

Objectives

Strategy

Execute a brand and content marketing plan in line with the wider business objectives, including on-site content, email marketing and social media, to drive online sales and growth.

Brand Awareness

Develop and maintain a consistent brand image across all digital platforms, enhancing the visibility and brand awareness through marketing campaigns.

Social media management

Enhance and optimize the company’s presence on social media platforms. Develop social media campaigns and direct the content generation team to produce regular and high quality content.

Key responsibilities

  • To develop social media campaigns and produce regular content that encourages engagement and action.
  • To produce on-site blog and page content that is on brand, optimised SEO and of value to our customer base
  • To work across departments to lead the development and implementation of marketing strategies that are considered, intentional and optimised.
  • To execute email marketing campaigns in line with the marketing plan to drive online sales
  • Coordinate and execute new product launches
  • Coordinate the development and execution of evergreen and seasonal content requirements to drive SEO, customer engagement and conversion
  • Manage relationships with affiliates, influencers and reviewer communities
  • Manage PR activity ensuring we are responsive to opportunities and promoting the brand to gain exposure
  • Work with suppliers to obtain new content, samples and cross-promotional activity
  • Work with the wider parenting network on promotional activity that achieves top of funnel exposure

Great to have

  • Proven experience in brand and content marketing
  • Experience of email marketing, specifically with Klaviyo
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong creative and analytical thinking
  • Experience in managing social media platforms
  • Knowledge of current marketing trends and best practices
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
